India white washes Zimbabwe today in the 3 day ODI series. India perviously did this in 2013 and in 1993. The team was led by debut captian Ajinkya Rahane.
Team India batted first and scored 275/5 in 50 overs making 276 as target for the Zimbabwe team. While the Zimbabwe team struggled to handle the heat from Team India as they scored only 193 and lost all the wickets in 42.4 overs.
#StuartBinny bowled an excellent bowling figures as he got 3 wickets in 10 overs and giving 55 runs. Whereas in the batting department the debut batsman Kedar Jadhav from Pune scoring an unbeaten 105* runs from 110 balls with 12 boundaries and 1 six.
Ajinkya Rahane said :
"I felt Kedar (Jadhav) and Manish (Pandey) batted really well. It was his debut game, but Manish batted sensibly. Overall, a great team effort. Rayudu got a hundred in the first game and now Kedar has got one. I am really happy with victory. Hopefully, he (Rayudu) will be fine soon. We are looking forward to the T20 series."
