Finally it is confirmed the first near Earth like planet around sun like star,It is milestone in journey of finding another Earth.

Kepler 452-b is the smallest of all  discovered till date in the habitable zone.The confirmation of kepler 452-b brings the total number of planets to 1030.

Earth is 60 percent smaller than newly discovered cousin kepler 452-b and it is considered as Super Earth most of things are not yet determined and it is guessed to be rocky.









Kepler 452-b is 1.5 billion years older than our sun and it is 6 billion years old,has the same temperature and is 20 percent brighter.

                                             It is considered to be as Super Earth because we dont have planet like this in our solar system .The Kepler 452-b lies 1,400 light years away from earth.
